Signing Up

1. Fill out our online application.

2. Upon acceptance you can choose your card design. Whether you choose ready-made designs or work with a designer for a custom design, we make it easy for you.

3. Once you have received your cards, just input your gift card account information into your POS software and you're ready to go.

Sales

When your customer buys a gift card, you simply enter the amount they'd like to purchase and swipe or manually enter the gift card number to activate the card and assign value to it. Then complete the sale by taking payment with cash, credit, check, or another payment type.

You can merchandise your cards like any other product, such as placing them at the sales counter to encourage impulse purchases.

Redemptions

When your customer presents a gift card (or cards) for full or partial payment of a purchase, you just enter the amount to be redeemed and swipe or manually enter the gift card number to redeem the amount entered or the amount remaining on the card, whichever is less. If necessary, you can take additional cash, credit, or check payments to complete the sale.

Any remaining value is left on the card for later use and the balance is conveniently printed on the sales receipt.

Balance Inquiries

Your customers may want to check the value of their gift card without making a purchase. To do so, just go to the payment screen and click the Check a Card Balance button. Swipe or manually enter the gift card number and the balance remaining will be displayed on the screen.

Reporting

Helpful reports can be easily generated through your QuickBooks Point of Sale software. Report data includes:

• Current card balances
• Transaction history and dates
